A very nostalgic and humble Jean Claude Duvalier yearning to go back to his country.This interview should hold some attention,he seemed very disconnected; from his criticism of Aristide to his plan to go back to Haiti to help rebuilt the country. I suppose that he had not grasped the reality of his situation yet.

Jean-Claude Duvalier is right, Haiti is worse off and the blame goes to Leslie Delatour. Delatour ruined Haiti. Delatour has made Jeanclaudism look good in comparison, though Delatour is just a more purified version of Jeanclaudism. Delatour ran the economy under Namphy where he did great damage, then the US forced Aristide to take him on and Preval after that. When Preval took power the second time Delatour was dead so he married his widow! To get IMF money I suppose!

@LordRevan1987 Let me answer your question this way, I live near Haiti, in the Dominican Republic….The haitians had always corrupt governments, and even though he was a dictator, during those times, it existed more money in Haiti, so many Haitians during this political unstability in Haiti approve his arrival, i do not like him either…but Haiti’s government had always been military and corrupt…

And by the way, even if you exiled someone, his homeland will always always remain his country.
